On Askøy, the main location for bird spotting is Herdla. But around the island, there are many spots where birds can be found in greater numbers. One is the forest, which is covered in another post. The other is the coast with places like Kleppestø, Bakarvågen, Florvåg, Strusshamn, Ramsøy and many more.
